Kimberly Harris, 53, and her son, Jordan Foster, 22, were identified as the two victims who were found fatally shot at a home in the 300 block of Ashmun Avenue in Lower Oxford Township on Wednesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Kevin Kochka.

The murder suspect, Timothy Harris, 40, is also dead after fleeing the crime scene and turning the gun on himself after crashing his car twice, Kochka said.

The exact time of the homicide is being investigated, but Kochka confirmed it happened sometime before 9:44 p.m. on Tuesday.

Troopers initially responded to the home around 1:15 a.m. on a report of two people in cardiac arrest, authorities said.

There, they found the mother and son with gunshot wounds and apparent injuries from an assault, investigators said.

Harris and Foster both engaged in a physical altercation with Timothy Harris, and during the fight, he shot them both, Kochka said.

EMS' attempts at reviving the victims were unsuccessful and they were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

As the investigation continued, authorities learned of a hit-and-run crash involving Timothy Harris that occurred at approximately 9:44 p.m. Tuesday in East Marlborough Township, Kochka said.

After fleeing the scene of that crash, Harris crashed again at approximately 9:53 p.m. in Kennett Township, authorities said.

Harris shot himself at or near that time, Kochka said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kimberly and Timothy Harris had been in a romantic relationship for about 15 years but had never married, according to Kochka.

The homicide is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police -Avondale Barracks.

The suicide is being investigated by Kennett Township police, Chester County Detectives, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.
